• Act as an innovative leader of new practices, technologies, or methods within the Asia Life Insurance market place by matching emerging platforms across markets and existing partnerships for RGA.

• Continue to find new Blue Sky opportunities and once protype completed, hand off to local businesses. Role is to work closely with the local offices and external parties to arrive at new initiatives that will generate profitable revenue for RGA in the future.

• This role will focus on the stage from idea generation to the development of a proto-type in which a local office is willing to pitch to a client the initiative and execute on the transaction. At that point in time the initiative's ownership passes to the local office for local office execution as well as the Regional Head of initiatives or regional head of products for their management and sharing of the idea and learnings around the region.

• Role will include working heavily with RGAx and other pockets of RGA where blue sky innovation is occurring.

• Role will work closely with the network of heads of initiatives and Managing Directors around the Asian local offices.

• This person will also be responsible for driving and fostering a stronger innovation culture in RGA asia.

• Drive a significant portfolio of innovation projects that places RGA Asia at the leading edge of industry.

• Identify opportunities across industry for partnerships & drive development of those relationships (joint ventures, strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunity, healthcare innovation, accelerators, etc.). Manage these partnerships to drive innovation outcomes for RGA Asia. 

• Engage Asia offices in Innovation discussions to provide education, provoke thinking, push boundaries so core work continues to move toward more innovative areas across all markets.

• Establish collaborative research arrangements across RGA to bring new ideas to market.

• Foster a culture of collaboration and develop experimental designs and prototypes.

• Partner with peers on a variety of projects.
