Duties and Responsibilities:

•          Generate and maintain cash flows projection model of new and existing treaties

•          Maps actuarial assumptions from pricing documents into the valuation system.

•          Coordinates and summarizes financial information for internal and external users.

•          Assists in local financial/ regulatory reporting and management reporting.

•          Support implementation of new accounting standard such as LDTI, IFRS17 and K-ICS.

•          Annual business planning: projection and estimate its profit and key indicators.

•          Recommends and participates in the development and enhancement of underlying processes.

•          Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

•          At least Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics

•          At least 5 years’ experience of actuarial valuation in life insurance companies or capable of catching up quickly.

•          Actuarial software experience (prophet is preferred)

•          Good understanding Korean life insurance products and financial statements.

•          Good understanding and knowledge of Korean life insurance industry and IFRS17 and K-ICS.

•          Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

•          Proficient Excel and software skills including database applications (Access, Oracle, SQL, Macro).
